A bloody nose also known as nose bleed, epistaxis is a farly common
occurrence. There are two types of nose bleed - Anterior which is very common & Posterior less common. Nose bleeds usually occur when the
membranes in the nasal passage dry out & crack. By applying
pressure to the nose for 10 minutes the blood will clot & stop the
bleeding. Sitting down with the head tilted forwards also helps reduce
blood pressure in the head.
